Today marks a historic milestone in our generation. We are privileged to witness the power of unity and the unwavering determination for change. The nature and outcome of the 2008 U.S. election have proven—beyond any doubt, even for the skeptics—that through faith and hard work, it is possible to see your words become reality.

The biblical commandment to honor parents emphasizes that respect is essential, despite familial challenges. Couples must prioritize their marriage while maintaining respect for parents. Effective communication and unity are crucial in addressing family dynamics. Ultimately, the marital bond should take precedence, fostering a healthy and flourishing relationship.

One question asked which I think would interest a hand full of people is, should married women go clubbing? Though the question refers particularly to women, I think the same can be asked on married men. Is there a straight answer like Yes they can or No they shouldn’t?

It is very sad, disheartening, horrendous and heart breaking to see the increase in knife crimes and deaths of teenagers in our society today. Young lives being wasted just like that. The pain and trauma families that have lost loved ones go through is enormous. The travesty of these crimes hits home when it knocks at your doorstep or in your neighbourhood. How many more lives must be lost before it abates? We all have a role to play in ensuring that this doesn’t go on.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he dictionary defines a friend as a close or intimate acquaintance, well-wisher or supporter. We make friends in school, places of work and worship, social gatherings etc. Some friends we outgrow, some we lose contact with, some become close rivals and sworn enemies while there are the few that the bible refers to as friends that sticks closer than a brother. While you have the liberty to choose, limit and dump friends at will when single, the whole dynamics changes when married.

It doesn’t just happen, it starts with lust, then a thought before it manifests into full blown romp and ecstasy. It would be a miracle for you pants to fall off all of a sudden and you find yourself lying face up, face down or sideways, left, right and center with clothes scattered all over the place. It most probably was preconceived either consciously or in your subconscious.

The last round of the boxing bout seemed to last forever. I thought it would never come to an end. My best effort got me a silver medal but the blows I endured were worth much more than that. The three rounds of three minutes required over 6 months training, exercise, endurance runs and weight loss. It is unbelievable just imagining the amount of training required to last nine minutes in the ring. In boxing, it really doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, what matters is getting back up again.

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ould you prefer to marry someone you  know is not right for you and later get a divorce, or break up the relationship before marriage? Regardless of how hard it may be, I know which one I would prefer, do you? The effect of a divorce can be enormous, especially when there are kids involved.

Why do women cry and men get angry all the time? Cars have dashboards while other pieces of equipment have indicators that tell the user something about an equipment. They show the status of a device, give instructions or warn of impending danger. These indicators draw the user’s attention to the situation, except the user intentional decides to ignore them. The same analogy can be applied to human beings. Babies communicate by crying especially when they cannot talk.
