[dropcap]D[/dropcap]igital photography has become my passion and in recent years an income stream which has given me the privilege of covering lots of weddings. Apart from the excitements and thrills I get from each wedding, I get to listen to wedding sermons which often focuses on the keys to having a successful marriage.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t different stages in our journey through life we  face pressures  from parents, peers, work or family. How do you deal with peer pressure? Our ability to deal with peer pressure depends on our values, character, vision and life ambitions. While parents have the privilege to guide and steer their children in the way they should go, the executive decision ultimately lies with the individual.

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hat should be the norm? Should the man always have to ask the woman out all the time or can a woman seize the initiative and ask the man out. Should a woman propose marriage to a man? In holy matrimony are there laid out rules on who should start the rumble in the jungle when the lights are out?

How many times have you heard people say that sexual compatibility is an important factor to consider before getting hitched? I believe every aspiring spouse would like to have mind blowing sex in marriage. Instead than trusting God and keeping themselves pure and chaste, they submit to test driving each other to guarantee compatibility. Obviously not every test driven car ends up in the drive way of the driver. Putting one and two together, if I can test drive one car, enjoy the comfort without any obligation to buy, why can’t I enjoy the same experience with different models, shapes,…

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t is important that we do all that we can to encourage the faith walk of our children. We cannot walk that walk for them, but we can certainly cheer them along and help to remove stumbling blocks. There are many ways in which we can do this, but I would like to mention just five ways parents, guardians, relatives and adults in general can help children relate to their heavenly father.

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]id you ever tell yourself you wanted to get married at a certain age or you wanted to have your kids before your thirties? Perhaps you’ve also said you wanted a younger or older wife or husband. Most times numbers don’t add up in matters like this. Although I do not see anything wrong in having preferences, if things turn out the way you wanted, great! But you shouldn’t make things happen the way you want them to at all cost. I fell into that trap once and getting out was dreadful and a horrendous dating experience.

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]arriage can reveal a lot of things about who we are and who our spouses really are too. The dating period is over and if there was any pretence, your true self is now manifested in the flesh. It is not surprising that after a while you begin to think you married the wrong person. Most of the time, this thought arises as a result of differences in opinions, philosophy, ideology, faith, habits and sometimes interests. Someone asked if Christianity and clubbing go together. What do you think? Is is OK for a Christian to go clubbing, if yes, are there any no go areas and if no why not? Some people associate clubbing with binge drinking, one night stands, violence and public nudity while there are those that feel it just a time to socialise and move the feet.

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]and in hand they walked in the garden in gentle strides enjoying the cool of the day. The sounds of whistling birds and waters flowing downstream always made the evening promenade pleasant. But wait a minute, the man and his wife haven’t got any clothes on and it didn’t seem to bother them. They loved each other and discovering that she was the bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh was a divine revelation.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] virgin is a woman who still has her hymen intact which mean she hasn’t had sexual intercourse with any man. I don’t think having oral sex, kissing, romance and the likes without intercourse deflowers a woman even though there are people that think it does. However, this isn’t a license to indulge in sexual acts outside the confines of marriage ,remember you have already guilty of sin by thinking of it in your heart. And as a man thinks so is he.
